BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- This Elvis had Florida authorities all shook up last week.
Boynton Beach police said 46-year-old Elvis Alonzo Barrett was arrested on more than 50 traffic citations -- all in one day.
Authorities said Barrett fled from police who were trying to stop him for a traffic violation Thursday morning.
Instead of stopping, he ran through red lights, crashed into another car and a fence, police said.
Police said they also found crack cocaine and a crack pipe in his car.
Besides facing several charges, including fleeing and eluding and reckless driving, Barrett also was issued more than 50 traffic tickets on charges ranging from speeding and running red lights to not wearing a seat belt.
Barrett has a lengthy criminal history and his driver's license was suspended, police said.
A phone number listed for him was not in service Thursday night.
