City Closing Pools At Public Parks

MIAMI -- Miami has closed pools at three of six city public parks for repair, according the city’s Parks and Recreation office.Hadley Park Pool is being tented for termites and will be closed while damage from the termites is repaired. There is no date set for its reopening but the target date is Memorial Day.Shenandoah Pool will be closed until Memorial Day while numerous repairs are made.Jose Marti Park will be closed for one week while a fence is repaired.Lifeguards at the pools will be transferred to other pools until they reopen.All 10 city pool parks are slated to reopen by Memorial Day Weekend.
