BOCA RATON, Fla. -- A South Florida animal rescue worker recently lost her battle with cancer, leaving the daunting task of caring for all her animals to her 70-year-old mother. Here's how you can help.
Rescue Rehab Home, a South Florida rescue group, has given many of these beautful dogs a temporary home at their faciltiy. But they need your help to find them permanent homes.
"The dogs are sweet and it's obvious they were loved and cared for by Wendy, their human "mom" who passed away," said Jamie from Rescue Rehab Home.
While they are in the care of Rescue Rehab Home, they will be exercised, socialized and the search will go on to find forever families that will love them.
"Wendy was a saint to manage to take good care of all of these animals," Jamie said. "The thought of them going to shelters to perish is not an option in the animal-loving community. While every dog deserves a chance, we must do this so Wendy can rest in peace knowing they are all loved still."
If you can foster or adopt one of these beautiful animals, please e-mail Jamie at
