South Fla. Cubans Cash In On Castro's Condition

MIAMI -- As most of the world waits for updates on Fidel Castro's health, some Cuban-Americans living in South Florida are hoping to cash in on his death.
Several Miami shop owners have begun selling special merchandise aimed at celebrating the communist dictator's impending death.
The owner of Sentir Cubano said she already sold out of the Castro "celebration kit," which includes a bottle of celebratory champagne, all for $13.
"We sold about 2,000 bottles," said Maria Vazquez.
There are lots of anti-Castro items to choose from, including T-shirts that read, "When the dog dies, the rabies go away."
There is also Castro toilet paper, which has become a bestseller with anti-Castro Cuban-Americans.
Retailers cashing in on the Castro craze don't seem to feel any guilt.
"He has profited from our feelings, from everything he has taken from us," said Vazquez. "Why not profit from him?"
