BROWARD, Fla. -- Some of Florida's citrus growers are switching to another food industry where demand is on the rise.
With prices on the decline and canker on the rise, some citrus growers are switching to farm-grown shrimp.
Shrimp is the nation's second most popular seafood behind canned tuna.
Agricultural economists said that shrimp do well in Florida's hard water with its high levels of calcium.
