Manager Of Key West Motel Said Can Was Unopened

KEY WEST, Fla. -- A motel manager found a surprise in his can of Coca-Cola Thursday.

The man told police that he had put $1 in the motel's Coca-Cola machine. After he received the can of soda and opened it, he found a bag of marijuana inside.

Officer David Kouri of the Key West police arrived at the motel, inspected the can and found marijuana in it.

The marijuana weighed 10.1 grams, according to police.

Kouri then opened the vending machine and removed approximately 100 cans for inspection.

No other cans had any contraband in them, police said.

The can and marijuana were seized and police are investigating.
