There are lots of products and procedures on the market promising to erase the signs of time.

From anti-aging creams to Botox injections to plastic surgery, the possibilities are endless and often times very painful.

But a new FDA-approved product could change the way people turn back the signs the time, and it can be done without using a scalpel and in less than an hour.

It's called the 15-minute face-lift and it's quickly becoming popular with both men and women.

"As we age we lose volume in our face and it begins to fall, like taking the stuffing out of a cushion. So by injecting filler material into our face, and the newest one approved by the FDA is Perlane, we add volume back to the face, like putting the stuffing back in the pillow," said dermatologist Dr. Frederic Brandt during an interview with Local10.com.

According to Brandt, who has offices in Miami and New York City, the newest FDA approved filler on the market is Perlane and is a natural product from the Restylane family of fillers.

The new line of fillers allows trained dermatologists and plastic surgeons to mold the face like a piece of clay, adding lift and volume without the patient going under the surgical knife.

"By looking at people when they were younger and just trying to revolumize their face to look like they did when they were younger, we came up with the filler face-lift," said Brandt.

Fillers can be used at any age, but Brandt said patients shouldn't wait until their face is really sagging to get the procedure done.

Brandt said the typical patient he treats with the "15-minute face-lift" is in their mid-to late 30s. "It's really not how old you are but the way your skin looks," said Brandt.

The cost can range from $600 to more than $1,000 per procedure and Brandt said it lasts about six months.
