A new wrinkle has appeared in the disappearance of a 5-year-old South Florida girl.

Rilya Wilson's caregiver has said the girl was taken by someone claiming to work for the Department of Children and Families in January 2001.

Now the Miami Herald is reporting that Wilson was spotted one month after she was thought to have vanished.

The paper quotes a Miami-Dade police source who says a medical professional remembers seeing Rilya in February of 2001 when her caregiver Geralyn Graham brought another child in for a check-up. That would have been a month after Graham claims Rilya was taken from her home.
