HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. -- Police said they have identified two victims after the arrest of a 36-year-old man who they said videotaped himself having sex with a handcuffed girl.

Matthew Kent Sheley faces one charge of sexual battery on a minor.

On the tape, police said, Sheley is seen having sex with a girl believed to be between 7 and 9 years old. Police said that although Sheley's face is not seen on the tape, he was identified from distinct tattoos on his body. Police said a birthmark on the girl's left forearm visible in the video helped them locate the girl.

Realtor Martin Halladey said he found the tape while cleaning an apartment that Sheley had recently moved out of. Halladey said Sheley left a few things in the pantry and was cleaning it out when he found three tapes behind some boxes of food. He took them home and played one on his VCR.

Sheley was arrested at his home on Lincoln Street, where neighbors said he was living with a 17-year-old girl. Police said they confiscated hundreds of possibly incriminating, homemade tapes inside.

Police said they have also identified a second victim seen in another videotape.

Sheley was previously charged with 11 counts of possession of child pornography.
