HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- A Hollywood hotel is booked solid this weekend for a unique event -- the National Internet Porn Convention.
Some residents aren't too happy to have the event in their town. The Westin Diplomat is playing host and will be closed to the public.
In past years, the convention was held in Las Vegas, but this year it was moved here to South Florida.
Not everyone is thrilled that the gathering happening in their town.
"I'm concerned about bad publicity that it has for Hollywood. And Hollywood prides itself on being a family city," Commissioner Cathy Anderson (pictured) said.
Officials at the conference have assured Hollywood police no nude acts or lewd and lascivious behavior will take place on hotel property.
