Police: Man Waiting In Woman's Car Raped Her

Woman Forced To Drive To Nearby Location

MIAMI -- Police have released a sketch of a man who they said raped a woman after he waited for her in the passenger seat of her car.

It happened Saturday at about 3 a.m. near Northwest 95th Street and Northwest Sixth Avenue.

According to Miami-Dade police, the woman was stopped at a gas station filling up her tank when two men driving an older model Lincoln pulled up behind her and offered to help, which she refused. After returning from the attendant's booth, she entered her car and saw the man -- a passenger in the Lincoln -- sitting in her passenger seat.

Police said the man ordered her to drive to a nearby location, where he sexually assaulted her. He then ran off in an unknown direction.

The man is between 5 foot 8 inches tall and 6 foot 1 with a short Afro and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with orange writing, blue jeans and blue shoes.
