Some firefighters are celebrating the return of their beloved mascot and friend today.

Bogie Bogie (pictured) the dog ran away from fire station No. 2 in Miami Thursday after he was spooked. Firefighters used fire trucks to look for the dog, and posted flyers offering a $1,000 reward. Sunday Cpt. Bob Barnes got the call he had been hoping for.

"It's been tough around here the last few days with out him here. Everybody in the station's been great. We had all the firefighters on all three shifts out looking for him. Finally this morning we got a phone call from a woman who said she found him on Northeast 2nd Ave. and 27th Street," Barnes said.

The station gave Bogie the next few days off.
