UPDATED: 8:53 pm EDT August 15, 2008

The trial for four men accused of murdering NFL star Sean Taylor has been delayed until next year.

On Friday, a judge set the new trial date to March 3, 2009.

It was originally scheduled to begin in late August of this year.

Prosecutors said the suspects shot the Washington Redskins star in November 2007 during a robbery attempt at his Palmetto Bay home.

The men have pleaded not guilty and are being held without bail. If convicted, they could face life in prison.
