LAUDERHILL, Fla. -- A 10-month-old girl is in critical condition at Plantation General Hospital after being rescued from an overnight apartment fire in Lauderhill.
Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fire inside the kitchen of an apartment in a quadplex located at 550 NW 35th Terrace.
Officials told Local 10 that a grandmother was home with her three grandchildren at the time of the fire.
Her 10-year-old grandchild smelled the smoke and ran to a neighbor's house from where they called fire rescue.
