WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Two students who watched as their teacher was gunned down by one of their peers testified Thursday in a trial that pits a gun distributor against a fallen teacher's widow.

Pam Grunow is suing Valor Corp., alleging that the gun it distributed, which was used in the murder of her husband, was defective and lacked key safety features that would have prevented a minor from using it.
Two students who saw Nathaniel Brazill, 16, shoot and kill Barry Grunow described the weapon on the stand.
"It looks like a gun that little kids play with -- they use to play cops. It was really small. It just looked fake," said student Dinora Rosales (pictured).
Prosecutors say the student's description of the gun is critical because its appearance, along with other factors, contribute to it's defective nature.
Rosales also said the gun didn't scare the slain teacher.
