MIAMI -- The "Joe Cool" charter boat, on which 4 people were murdered, will be sold in a public auction today.
The 47-foot vessel, a 1988 Buddy Davis convertible, has 2 staterooms and 2 bathrooms.
Bidding will begin today at 1:30 p.m. at the Miami-Dade Courthouse. The current highest bid is $70,000.
Last October, the captain of the "Joe Cool," his wife and 2 deck hands were murdered after their vessel was hijacked at sea.
On Monday, a Miami federal judge ordered one of the murder suspects Guillermo Zarabozo to be retried on murder, kidnapping and robbery charges. A mistrial was declared on those charges last week.
Zarabozo claims Kirby Archer killed the crew after they refused to take them to Cuba.
