FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- A Hialeah truck driver who was found guilty of causing a deadly accident that killed four people will be sentenced Monday.
Flavo Santisteban, 36, was convicted on all four counts of vehicular homicide in September.
In February 2005, he was driving a 9,000-gallon gasoline tanker when it skidded out of control on the ramp to Florida's Turnpike at Interstate 595
A vehicle with four people inside was pinned behind the tanker when it exploded. All four were killed instantly.
Prosecutors in the case argued that Santisteban was speeding before the accident.
He faces up to 60 years behind bars.
