$13 Million Renovation Project Begins At Vizcaya

MIAMI -- A $13 million restoration project kicks off Wednesday at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
Some of the first projects to be started include complete rehabilitation of the East and West Gate Lodges and the historical interiors of the Vizcaya Cafe and Shop, structural restoration of deteriorated concrete in the Casino Mound, and renovation of the David A. Klein Orchidarium.
Vizcaya is a European-inspired estate that includes a house filled with art and 10 acres of magnificent gardens.
Past visitors include Queen Elizabeth II, Pope John Paul II and former President Ronald Reagan.
