LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA, Fla. -- A man who was spotted outside a Lauderdale-By-The-Sea condominium complex, wearing only a pair of black briefs, was arrested Thursday evening, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

BSO said a deputy patrolling the beach on an ATV spotted 45-year-old Davvid Hamilton of Pompano Beach near a condo in the 1300 block of Southwest 16th Street at about 8:50 p.m.

Hamilton is a registered sex offender who has been arrested several times in Broward County for allegedly exposing himself.

BSO said Hamilton fits the description of a man who witnesses said exposed himself three times since May 4 on beaches in Pompano Beach and Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. Police said a resident also reported a man who fit his description peeking into a window at a home in the 1400 block of South Ocean Boulevard.

Hamilton was arrested Thursday and charged with trespassing, police said.
