Broward County Schools To Change Starting Times

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Beginning next fall Broward County parents may be able to set the alarm a little bit later.Fifteen of the county's public schools are changing their hours next year.The school board is expected to pass the measure on Tuesday.The time changes affect the following schools: Cross Creek School; Mary M. Bethune Elementary School; Flamingo Elementary School; Park Trails Elementary School; Driftwood Middle School; Falcon Cove Middle School; Lyons Creek Middle School; Plantation Middle School; Pompano Beach Middle School; Seminole Middle School; Silver Trail Middle School; Walter C. Young Middle School; Flanagan High School; West Broward High School; and Western High School.
