Broward County Schools To Change Starting Times

Beginning next fall Broward County parents may be able to set the alarm a little bit later.

Fifteen of the county's public schools are changing their hours next year.

The school board is expected to pass the measure on Tuesday.

The time changes affect the following schools: Cross Creek School; Mary M. Bethune Elementary School; Flamingo Elementary School; Park Trails Elementary School; Driftwood Middle School; Falcon Cove Middle School; Lyons Creek Middle School; Plantation Middle School; Pompano Beach Middle School; Seminole Middle School; Silver Trail Middle School; Walter C. Young Middle School; Flanagan High School; West Broward High School; and Western High School.
