Hats off to Miami-Dade leaders for setting up a new plan that makes health insurance accessible and affordable to everyone.It's called the Blue plan. In this case, county leaders teamed up with a private insurer to get doctors and hospitals to offer low-cost, high-quality health insurance to those who cannot afford it.That could be a real lifesaver for the one in four residents who currently cannot afford it in Miami-Dade county.What's more, taxpayers benefit as well. Millions are now spent paying the bills of indigent care.Miami-Dade's Blue plan leaves no reason not to have health coverage. It's an example of what can be done when government works.That's our take on things. Let us know what you think.
