Police Seek 2 Bank Robbers

TAMARAC, Fla. -- The Broward Sheriff's Office is searching for two men who robbed a bank in Tamarac on Thursday morning.

The robbery happened at a Bank Atlantic in the 4200 block of West Commercial Boulevard at about 11:50 a.m.

Images from a surveillance video released by BSO show the bank robber, who police described as a heavyset man with a Jamaican accent who was wearing a red T-shirt, a black hat, sunglasses and gloves.

Police also are searching for a second man in connection with the crime.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
