MIAMI -- Police in Miami-Dade County are searching for a man who they believe broke into a home Sunday morning and sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend.
According to police, 32-year-old Stanley Rolly Davis of Miami, armed with a knife, forced his way into a home near Northwest 13th Avenue and 100th Street. After attacking his ex-girlfriend, police said, Davis fled on foot.
Investigators said Davis still had the knife when he allegedly forced his way into a nearby apartment. Davis made the woman who lives there take her 5-month-old child and walk from the area with him before releasing them a short time later, police said.
Davis has not yet been arrested. He is about 6 feet 2 inches tall, 300 pounds, and was last seen wearing a white shirt with blue stripes and jean shorts.
Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
