Officials Work To Trap Dog At Airport

MIAMI -- Officials at Miami International Airport are searching for a dog that was seen running around on a runway on Thursday afternoon.The dog was roaming on fields adjacent to the airport as well as on an actual runway at one point. It was seen on the east side of the airport near LeJeune Road. 
Photos: Slideshow Airport officials said the runaway dog did not affect air traffic.The dog was seen on airport property for five to 10 minutes before it vanished. Airport officials continue to search for the animal. In February, another dog was captured after making a similar dash across airport property. That dog was taken to a shelter and eventually adopted and named Boeing.
