Closures In Observance Of Independence Day

Here's a look at what's opened/closed this Fourth of July Weekend in Miami-Dade and Broward counties:

All federal, state, county and municipal offices are closed.

Broward and Miami-Dade Transit, Metrorail, Metrobus, Metromover will operate on a regular bus schedule on Friday. On Saturday, public transit will run on a holiday schedule.

Regular mail delivery services will be available Friday. However, most Post Offices will close at noon, and most collection times will be advanced to noon.

Libraries will be closed today and Saturday, July 4, in observance of the holiday.

In Miami-Dade, curbside garbage and trash collection service will not be picked up Friday.
