11 Pythons Caught In Hunt
Python Hunting Season Began One Month Ago
It has been one month since trappers started rounding up Burmese pythons in the Florida Everglades.
So far, only 11 reptiles have been caught.
The python trapping season ends on Oct. 31, but Governor Charlie Crist is reportedly considering extending it through the cooler months. Trappers said it's easier to find snakes when the temperatures take a dip.
It is estimated that there could be as many as 100,000 Burmese pythons hiding out in the Everglades.
