MIAMI -- Police are searching for a man who robbed and sexually assaulted a woman outside her apartment building in Miami Saturday morning.According to Miami police, the victim was on her way home from eating out at about 5:20 a.m. when a man with a gun approached her at the gated area of her apartment building near Southwest 32nd Avenue and Virginia Street.Police said the victim handed over her purse and other belongings, and then the man sexually assaulted her.The attacker escaped. Police said he is about 5 feet 7 tall and 160 pounds with a medium build. He is believed to be in his 20s, and he has a brown mark on the white of his right eye.Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
