MIAMI -- Police are searching for a gunman who robbed a check-cashing store in Miami-Dade County on Monday.According to Miami-Dade police, the man went into a check-cashing store in the 9800 block of Southwest 40th Street, went up to an employee at a counter and pulled out a gun. 
Photos: Slideshow Police said the man demanded cash from the register, which the employee handed over.The robber escaped on foot. Surveillance video captured images of the man inside the store.Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
