The Coast Guard said Thursday it is searching for a cruise ship passenger that apparently fell overboard near the Bahamas.

Neha Chhikara, 23, was reported missing from Royal Caribbean's Monarch of the Seas.

The Coast Guard said the crew of the cruise ship reviewed surveillance video, which they said showed Chhikara going overboard from the 12th deck at 4:11 a.m.

The ship was on its way from Nassau to Little Stirrup Cay near the Berry Islands, Bahamas, when the passenger apparently fell.

The Coast Guard is searching for Chhikara by jet, helicopter and ship.
