A group of firefighters who were on the front lines in Haiti after the deadly earthquake finally arrived home on Wednesday.

The group made a stop in Washington before returning and was recognized by President Barack Obama and Haitian President Rene Preval in Washington on Wednesday.

"Well for us it was incredible because we go out there and we do a job, we try and rescue as many people as possible but we don't do it for the credit. So when members have put so much ono the line to do that kind of work are recognized, it's absolutely amazing." said Capt. Joseph Zahralban who was honored at the White House.

During the visit at the White House, Obama and Preval discussed relief, recovery and reconstruction efforts for the quake ravaged nation.

Obama also pledged continued support.
