One of two women injured by a hit-and-run driver in Fort Lauderdale last week has died, police said Thursday.

Carolyn Bianco, 65, passed away as a result of her injuries from the hit-and-run on March 10 on Las Olas Boulevard near 11th Avenue. Her friend, Victoria Kirby, is being treated for a pelvic fracture.

Police said a large SUV hit Bianco and Kirby and did not stop.

Although there were witnesses to the crash, no arrests have been made. Police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver who hit Bianco and Kirby.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
