MIAMI -- Miami-Dade police are investigating what appears to be a case of graves being desecrated.
Police said that bones were found Monday afternoon just outside Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in northwest Miami-Dade County.Sky10 was overhead as the investigation began, and it appeared that three vaults were tampered with. In one case, the casket was also opened and the remains were removed. A dead chicken was found near the grave, leading investigators to believe the desecration could be connected to a religious ceremony.Watch Local 10 News for more on this developing story.
