NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- The FBI released new video today of a terror suspect who once lived in South Florida.
The video shows Adnan el Shukrijumah giving a presentation to his classmates at Broward Community College in 1997. He was giving a speech on how to jumpstart a car. The video was shot while Shukrijumah was taking an English as a second language class at the school.
Shukrijumah, who used to live in Miramar, was identified by U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft as someone who is planning attacks against the United States.
"He is a big threat. We believe that he could be planning terrorist activities against the U.S. interests here or abroad. So, we'd like to find him as soon as we can," said FBI spokesperson Judy Orihuela.
Orihuela said right now the FBI thinks Shukrijumah is living overseas. He was last spotted six months ago in Guyana.
The Department of State is offering a $5 million reward for Shukrijumah's capture.
