DAVIE, Fla. -- A Davie horse is reportedly extremely distressed because his companion, an elderly goat, is missing.

The horse, named "Partly Cloudy," has lived with the goat for four years, and the two are inseparable. For the past six months, the 19-year-old horse and Butthead the goat have been living at Pegasus Ranch on Griffin Road.
Humane Society of Broward County workers said Butthead was last seen on Saturday, and it is believed to have been stolen.
Butthead normally sleeps beside the horse and follows him wherever he goes. Animal cruelty investigators said that Partly Cloudy is miserable without his companion.
It is common practice for horse race tracks to keep goats with horses to calm the horses' nerves.
Davie police say that there are no leads yet in Butthead's disappearance.
If you have information regarding the goat's whereabouts, you are asked to call the Humane Society at (954) 895-3626.
