PERRINE, Fla. -- A Perrine family has filed a formal complaint against the Miami-Dade Police Department for killing a loved one they say was mentally ill.
The Baker family has hired a lawyer to deal with their case.
Police say they were forced to fire after Randy Baker became physical and started hitting two officers last weekend. Baker was shot three times in the head.
