Parents Accused Of Starving Baby Told 'No' By Judge
Couple Will Not Be Allowed To See Other Children

MIAMI -- A South Florida couple hoping to see their four children were turned down by a judge Tuesday.
Joseph and Lamoy Andressohn are awaiting trial in the death of their 5-month-old daughter Woyah. They are accused of manslaughter.
Prosecutors say the Andressohns neglected the baby and did not feed an adequate diet to their children. Investigators have said that at the time of Woyah's death, she weighed just 7 pounds, which was less than her birth weight.
The Andressohns' other four children have been in the custody of the state for the past year and a half.
Prosecutors were pleased with the judge's decision to keep the children separated from the parents and said it will protect the children from more trauma.
Ellis Rubin, the Andressohns' defense attorney, says he will prove it was genetic defect, not lack of proper food, that killed the baby.
Lamoy Andressohn will also be in court for another fight -- for the custody of the baby she is expecting.
Lamoy Andressohn is six months pregnant.
The Andressohns' trial is scheduled in May.
