Mogul's Murder Continues To Confound
FBI Files May Shed Some Light
The murder of a millionaire South Florida businessman continues to confound police.

Investigators are hoping that Gus Boulis' (pictured, right) FBI file may help explain who was behind his murder.
The records contain a single incident in September of 1997, when someone stole a personal diary from Boulis' apartment.
Boulis then received calls from a woman, demanding $25,000 for its return, according to the records.
What stands out to FBI agents is that Fort Lauderdale police told them that they were familiar with Boulis and the rumors that he had ties to organized crime and money laundering.
Boulis was killed last month, when at least two men ambushed him in his car on a dark Fort Lauderdale street, according to detectives.
Boulis' car crashed in front of a Miami Subs restaurant, a chain he started.
