Publicist Says Model Was Passenger In Car That Crashed Into Pole
Supermodel Niki Taylor remains in critical condition after a weekend car crash in Atlanta.
The 26-year-old model (pictured, right) from Cooper City suffered severe liver damage in the accident.
Her publicist says that the car Taylor was riding in crashed into a light pole. Lou Taylor said that the model was awake but heavily sedated. No surgery was planned.
Six years ago, Taylor's younger sister Crissy, who was also a model, died when she suffered an asthma attack.
"What we're gonna ask everyone to do is please pray for her. ? There's a lot going on in the family and we do not need to lose another child, not this way," Mary Eaton, Taylor's aunt said.
Driver James Renegar, 27, told police he lost control of the 1993 Nissan Maxima when he looked down to answer his cell phone. Police said they did not suspect drugs or alcohol contributed to the accident. Taylor was wearing a seatbelt.
