Cities Want Judge To Stop Cutting
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Nervous homeowners expect a ruling on canker tree cutting this morning.
Broward County and two cities want an administrative law judge to stop the state from cutting down citrus trees that may have the canker virus.
An appellate court has said they don't have that power.
State authorities say about 200,000 residential citrus trees in South Florida will have to be cut.
