A judge ruled Tuesday that Miami-Dade County residents will vote in a runoff election for the office of property appraiser.

The judge struck down Gwen Margolis' case that the county property appraiser is a constitutional position.

Neither Margolis nor her opponent, Pedro Garcia, received 50 percent of the vote in the November election.

Voters will take up the decision again on Dec. 16.
