The slumping Marlins have their hands full Monday night in San Diego.

The Fish will be going up against the Padres and Greg Maddux (3-6). Even though Maddux has struggled this season, he still has hall of fame talent. Maddux also has a lifetime ERA against the Marlins of 2.95.

The Fish will counter with Ricky Nolasco (9-4). He has been the Marlins most consistent pitcher over the past few months. Nolasco has won eight of his last nine starts since May 9.

The Marlins lost three out of four games in Colorado. They now trail the Phillies in the N.L. East by 2 and 1/2 games.

First pitch from Petco Park is scheduled for 10:05 p.m.
