San Francisco Giants (28-25) At Florida Marlins (26-30), 6:10 P.m.

(Sports Network) - Mexican-born lefty Jonathan Sanchez can make it two straight wins since a five-start drought tonight when his San Francisco Giants visit Land Shark Stadium for the second of four weekend games with the host Florida Marlins.

Sanchez, who'll make his 100th major-league appearance tonight, was 1-4 in 2009 after a 2-1 loss at San Diego on May 20, his third straight.

He rebounded to defeat Atlanta with five quality innings five days later and has since made it two starts without a loss after pitching 4 1/3 innings in the Giants' 5-3 win over St. Louis on May 31.

He's faced Florida twice in his career, both times in relief, and has allowed two hits and a run in 2 2/3 innings.

Sanchez is 0-4 away from home this season in five games -- four starts -- giving up 18 hits and 16 runs in 20 2/3 innings.

For the Marlins, former first-round draft pick Andrew Miller gets another chance to kick-start an uneven 2009.

The Florida-born Miller, a native of Gainesville, made two appearances in relief to begin the season and allowed five hits and a run in 2 1/3 innings.

He's started six times since, but has lasted beyond five innings only twice, in a no-decision against Arizona and a loss at Philadelphia. His lone win of the year came May 16 against Los Angeles, when he allowed four hits and two runs in five innings of a 6-3 Marlins triumph.

He is 1-0 in five appearances, three starts, at home this season and has never faced the Giants.

On Friday, Pablo Sandoval's two-run homer was all Barry Zito and the Giants' bullpen needed to down the Marlins, 2-1. Zito (2-6) tossed five-plus innings of one-run ball, scattering four hits and three walks to pick up his first win in five decisions.

Brandon Medders, Sergio Romo and Brian Wilson combined for four scoreless frames, with Wilson picking up his 14th save despite walking three hitters in the ninth.

Aaron Rowand had three hits for San Francisco, which has won four of five.

Dan Uggla and Ronny Paulino each had two hits, while Alejandro De Aza drove in the only run for Florida, which went 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position, stranding 12.

Chris Volstad (4-5) was the hard-luck loser, giving up two runs on eight hits in a six-inning start for Florida, which has dropped two of three.

San Francisco split its six matchups with the Marlins last season, but is 10-4 in the series since the start of the 2007 campaign.
