Dolphins Sign Two Draft Picks

Fins Ink Turner, Folsom

The Miami Dolphins signed wide receiver Patrick Turner and linebacker J.D. Folsom, the team announced Friday.

The 6 foot 5, 223-pound Turner was the team’s third-round selection in the 2009 draft.

He was a four-year letterman and two-year starter at Southern California.

Turner finished his collegiate career with 138 receptions for 1,752 yards and 17 touchdowns.

He attended Goodpasture High School in West Madison, Tenn.

The 6 foot 3, 230-pound Folsom was the team’s seventh-round selection in the 2009 draft.

He was a two-year letterman at Weber State where he finished his collegiate career with 179 tackles, 5.5 sacks and one interception.

Folsom attended Salmon, High School in Salmon, ID where he played quarterback and linebacker. He also was a national qualifier in team roping on the high school rodeo team.
