FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- The Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints are coming to South Florida to face off in Super Bowl XLIV -- and Super Bowl gear is being made right here.
The presses were rolling all Sunday night at Atlas Embroidery in Fort Lauderdale. The company is the official host city apparel producer for Reebok NFL merchandise.
Adam Cohen, who is vice president of sales, said they began printing AFC championship shirts for the Colts at 6:15 p.m and by 11:15 p.m were printing NFC championship gear for the Saints -- as well as Super Bowl matchup shirts.
The merchandise began to head to stores begining at 9 a.m. About 10,000 shirts were printed last night alone. The company expects to continue production over the next week.
The Super Bowl is set to played at Sun Life Stadium Feb. 7.
