Rob Schmitt came to Miami in January 2008 from Redding, California where he was the morning anchor for the ABC affilate.In Redding, Rob reported on a variety of issues including the local economy, politics, as well as serious Northern California wildfires.Rob graduated from the Indiana University Ernie Pyle School of Journalism in 2005. A native of central Indiana, Rob says he's much happier now in a warmer climate.He enjoys South Florida's weather, the beaches and the severe thunderstorms.
