Jen Herrera

Jen Herrera anchors Local 10 News on Saturday and Sunday nights.

The South Florida native has been covering the news in Miami since May 2003. When she first joined the Local 10 family, she came on board as a general assignment reporter.

In October 2003, she joined the morning news team as the station's first traffic anchor. While keeping an eye on the roads for South Florida drivers, Jen continued to cover news stories, as well. She moved on to anchor the Local 10 News at Noon and the Local 10 Morning News on Saturday and Sunday.

Jen graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and a minor in English. Jen is fluent in Spanish and loves covering the news in the area where she grew up.

Jen has had the opportunity to get involved with several organizations she holds near and dear to her heart, including Autism Speaks and The Make a Wish Foundation.

While not at work, Jen loves spending time at home with her family.
