Officials Want FLL-Cuba Flights

3 U.S. Airports Currently Allow Cuba Travel

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Travelers heading to Cuba could soon be able to catch a flight from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Broward County commissioners agreed Tuesday to ask the Obama administration to designate the airport as a point of entry for flights to and from the island.

Currently, only Miami International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport have such designations.
